I really hope I'm not alone here... I have the worst hot flashes lately, now I know what my mom goes through in menopause! I think part of this is to blame on our crazy weather, we went from 30's to 70's almost overnight { not that I'm complaining!! } but it's so embarrassing to suddenly turn red and sweat in a public place. Yikes. With this warm, sunny weather the 'Allergy Gods' have decided to plant themselves in my sinuses which I will complain about because nothing I do seems to relieve it! I tried my saline spray, tylenol (for my headache / pressure build-up), Vick's products, Zyrtec, etc. Next up: Neti Pot... we'll see if it really works as good as people say!
We have our next appointment in a little over 2 weeks and I can't wait. I don't know how other girls complain and nag about going to the OB because I love going. Maybe it's because I have an amazing doctor & super friendly nurses that make me feel real comfortable, I'm not sure. Either way, at our 28 week we get to see Keaton in 3D/4D and that makes me excited -- I think he'll have a lot more of my physical features but that's just me! I'm most curious to know what his eye color will be when he gets older. I was born with blue eyes and over time they turned to a green shade. Ryan has bright blue eyes and that's what I'm rooting for! I was also born with a ton of hair so I'm curious to see how much Keaton has. Only about 14 more weeks until we can hold him, yay!
We're supposed to be closing on the home on the 28th and I can not wait. Our neighbors stairwell is next to our bedroom and his German Shepperd literally barks for 12 hours sitting there -- talk about a latch key dog! Our new neighbors look pretty friendly but we haven't actually met yet. We have neighbors across the street they look like they have a teenager daughter and a medium sized doggy. No neighbors one one side of us and the other side is sold but there hasn't been construction yet. A few homes down there's a younger couple probably in their early 30's... other than that it's a pretty quiet neighborhood. We opted to have the fenced in yard which will make it really private and safe for Keaton to play { big enough for a tree house, fort or swing set!! } and Ryan's excited to be able to play with "boys toys" again... ha ha! Not only that but now we don't have to argue about who has to walk Cooper... even with the dog park right next to our apartment no one really wants to go sit out there at 8pm in the dark with a 10 degree wind chill lol!
